After coating the cotton linen with special photosensitive chemicals for cyanotype printing, they were allowed to dry in a darkroom. The large negatives were contact printed onto the paper by exposing them with a UV lamp. Each print had an exposure time of fifteen to thirty minutes depending on the size of the canvas.

The prints were processed by washing them thoroughly with water to remove any residue of the unexposed solution. They were then hung to dry, developing the full-density Prussian blue after 24 hours. Once dry, the individual pieces were mounted on another cotton textil
